ClipDeck keeps asking for permissions on launch
macOS sometimes gets confused with Accessibility permissions during updates. If ClipDeck keeps showing the onboarding screen asking for Accessibility permissions even though you already granted it, you need to reset the permission.
How to fix it:
- Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility.
- Select ClipDeck in the list.
- Click the "-" (minus) button at the bottom of the list to completely remove ClipDeck.
- Quit and restart ClipDeck.
- Follow the onboarding prompt again to re-add ClipDeck to the list.
This forces macOS to refresh the security cache for the app.
